Confidentiality is adhered to wherein I answer my own phone calls + emails.  You can expect to hear back from me within 24-hours, including weekends.


  • Therapy, often called counseling or psychotherapy, is the process of meeting with a therapist to resolve personal problems, feelings, relationship issues, or beliefs.  Receiving therapy is often the right step towards becoming a healthier version of yourself and living the best life possible-no matter what challenges you may be facing.  Through therapy, you can improve self-destructive behaviors and habits, resolve painful feelings, improve relationships and more.  

  • Our sessions will be 50 minutes long with brief and extended sessions available as needed.  

  • I participate with many insurance carriers and additionally take on pro-bono clients and work with private pay clients.  Payments including co-pays are due at time of service in the form of check, credit card or cash.  

  • On average we will meet once a week with adjustments made on an as needed basis.

  • I do not prescribe medicine.  If however, there is need for a Physician or Psychiatrist referrals are offered.  I do participate in medication management and have a working knowledge of eastern and natural remedies. *Please, do not stop taking your prescribed medications before consulting with your prescriber or a professional*

  • Everything you say in session is kept confidential.  Confidentiality is only broken if there is suspected harm to others.  If I suspect that I must break our confidential bond, I discuss it with you first.  Our professional relationship is important to me and I am very transparent about concerns for safety and/ or dangers to cause me to break confidently with you.

When we work together, I will mainly use talk therapy, usually under the cognitive behavioral therapy model (CBT) because it has the most evidence backing in terms of decreasing symptoms many of us face including unmanaged anxiety, depression, adjustments in life, bi-polar, borderline and many other conditions or symptoms that be experienced.  CBT states that thoughts, situations, behaviors, and feelings are all connected.
